Jana Plodkova, star of the Academy Award submitted Foreign Film ‘Protektor’ has just signed on to be the face of Eminence Organic Skin Care in the Czech Republic!  Already a huge movie star in Europe, we can’t wait to see more of her pretty face and glowing Eminence skin on the big screen.

The stars came out this past weekend for the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards and Eminence was there at Melanie Segal's Platinum Publicity's Celebrity and Charity Lounge in their honor!  Held at the infamous House of Blues in Hollywood, California, celebrities like CCH Pounder, star of the night’s big winner ‘Avatar’ and Lorraine Toussaint  from ‘Saving Grace and Any Day Now’  met with Brenda Pegram, our lovely Eminence representative who was on site to educate and tempt visitors with our yummy organic hand outs.  Other celebs who stopped by to enjoy our delectable treats were ‘The Biggest Loser’ host Alison Sweeney, Andy Buckley from ‘The Office’, Beverly Mitchell from ‘7th Heaven’, Natasha Henstridge from ‘Eli Stone’ and Carolyn Hennesy from ‘Cougar Town’…just to name a few!  And not only was Eminence a huge success at the event, but the event itself helped raise more than $100,000 for Haiti relief!  It was great fun and a huge honor to take part in such a triumphant event and we look forward to next year!  For more on this event, check out the Entertainment Tonight coverage at the link!

Spa Magazine presented the 2nd annual Silver Sage Reader's Choice Awards for 2009 and amongst these fabulous spa winners were many who carried Eminence! Eminence founders Boldijarre and Attila Koronczay attended the lavish event to congratulate and support everyone involved. We would like to applaud all of the winners of Spa Magazine's Reader's Choice Awards and are extremely proud to be carried by such prestigious spas that were voted by the masses to be the best of the best!

One of the top industry magazines, Sisters BeautyPro, presented the Professional Whitening Product Award to Eminence Organic Yam & Pumpkin Enzyme Peel 5%. The annual BeautyPro Awards consist of 9 members in the Advisory Board and praise outstanding professional skin care products, cosmetic products, nail art, equipment and training academy within the industry. Strict qualifications include everything from compliance of the Hong Kong Import and Export Ordinance to the compliance of Hong Kong and International Health and Safety standards.

It was a nice holiday treat this year for Eminence when we were mentioned repeatedly in the December issue of Day Spa magazine, beginning with our Blueberry Soy Exfoliating Cleanser as a Super Sud in a solid article on cleansers entitled ‘It’s a Wash’.  We also found our new Tea Tree & Mint Cleanser listed as an essential this month, as an important part to clean hands and staying germ-free during cold and flu season.
