Last weekend, the Éminence team participated in 28th Annual Vancouver Sun Run, which promotes healthy living and helps support elite amateur athletes. With nearly 50,000 participants, the Sun Run is the largest 10 kilometer race in Canada, and the second largest in the world. The winning time was 29:13, which was just a few seconds ahead of our athletic bunch...okay not quite, but they gave it their all and finished with personal best times. Way to go everyone - we couldn't be prouder of our Éminence athletes!

Headlining the prestigious International Congress of Esthetics Miami Beach Tradeshow recently, Éminence President and Founder Boldijarre Koronczay attracted the largest crowd of the entire show! Over 1,000 people lined up and packed the conference hall to learn Eastern European Anti-Aging Facial Massage Techniques direct from the Master Trainer. Once again Éminence is proud to educate the esthetics industry on the most innovative treatments and techniques, along with products. Here we grow again! Éminence had a great kick start to our first spa tradeshow of the year this week at the ESI Vancouver Tradeshow. A record number of 500 enthusiastic spa professionals were lined up for over an hour to see Éminence President, Boldijarre Koronczay's presentations.  Boldijarre would like to personally thank you for your support and participation in making Éminence the most visited booth and highest attended class at the show! It was a celebration of the movies this year at the Oscars for the Academy Award’s 84th year, and once again Éminence was a part of the glitz and glamour!

We were honored to gift this year’s Oscar nominees! Michelle Williams, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Viola Davis, Rooney Mara, Glenn Close and more received our Coconut Sugar Scrub and brand new Coconut Firming Body Lotion today to help them unwind and relax after an extraordinary evening.

Leading up to the big night, we hosted a gifting suite on the beautiful sunny rooftop of L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills to unveil our new Age Corrective Collection! Stars raved about the new collection and loved testing out our organic skin care, remarking on the delicious aromas especially! Wendy McLendon Covey, star of the Oscar nominated film Bridesmaids, loved the delicious coconut scent of the new collection saying “it smells good enough to eat!” Ken Davitian, star of the Best Picture winning film The Artist, said “Can I eat this stuff? It smells amazing!” Angela Kinsey and Kate Flannery from hit TV show The Office, Oscar-nominated actor from The Blind Side Quentin Aaron, Bai Ling, Lorenzo Lamas, Miss Costa Rica and more visited with us to learn about the fresh, cold-pressed ingredients in our products and try the new collection. The classic Sour Cherry Masque, Blueberry Soy Night Recovery Cream and our Organic Beauty cosmetics were among the favorites!

For the second consecutive year, the Éminence team took to Victory Square in downtown Vancouver on Sunday, December 11 to help those in need during the holiday season.  The team  prepared and distributed 319 lunches and some fantastic care packages filled with socks, toques, and gloves to help keep warm over the chilly holiday season. The team spread some festive cheer and is honored to be able to give back to the community.

The December issue of Pulse magazine features an interview with Stephanie Baresh, Director of Marketing at Éminence, discussing our past initiatives in support of disaster relief around the world such as the Haiti Earthquake Relief and clean-up of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. “We work in a caring industry and it’s an honor to be able to rally our partner spas, estheticians, sales reps, consumers to support our efforts and start their own,” Baresh is quoted. Be sure to pick up the fantastic latest issue which focuses on the industry giving back!

Éminence Organic Skin Care was thrilled to be a part of the welcome for the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) and the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) at their sixth annual meeting recently in Redondo Beach, CA. Delegates and distinguished guests from across the United States and Puerto Rico loved their Éminence jute bags and Stone Crop Body Lotion, a hydrating and lightening moisturizer that heals sun damage from head to toe. FSMTB's President Kevin Snedden even stated in his opening speech that Éminence had definitely raised the bar for future conferences. To ring in the holiday season, the Éminence team recently gathered at Provence, a beautiful marina side restaurant in Vancouver, to hold our annual raffle and live auction to raise money for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food and related assistance to those in need.  Together we were able to raise an incredible $19,873 and with the Food Bank's 3-1 buying power (for every $1 donated, $3 worth of food can be bought) the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society will be able to purchase at least $59,619 worth of food for people in our community needing some extra support. We'd like to thank all of our suppliers who made generous donations to support our event and we wish everyone a very safe and happy holiday season!
