Earlier this month, Les Nouvelles Esthetiques & Spa released their nominees for the coveted LNE & Spa BEST of 2013 distinction. They asked their devoted readers to vote for their favorite product from each category that deserved to win the "BEST" title. Thanks to an overwhelming number of votes, Éminence Organic Skin Care won the "BEST" award in two categories:

Best Bronzer - Mineral Illuminator

Best Green Product - Herbal Recovery Oil

The winning products will be featured in a special layout in the upcoming February 2013 issue of LNE & Spa.

The Éminence Organic Skin Care team recently celebrated our company holiday party at the beautiful Terrazza restaurant in Vancouver.  For the 5th consecutive year, our staff held a live auction event to raise money for selected charity organizations. This year's fundraising efforts will enable the Canadian Red Cross to help relief operations for communities impacted by Hurricane Sandy across the Caribbean and the United States, and assist the BC Children's Hospital to the expansion their child development and rehabilitation services. With the generosity from Owners Attila & Boldijarre Koronczay who matched every dollar spent during the evening, we were able to raise over $20,000! We'd like to thank all of our suppliers who made generous donations to support our event and we wish everyone a very safe and happy holiday season!

The Éminence team took to Victory Square in downtown Vancouver for its 3rd consecutive year this past Sunday, December 16 to help those in need during the holiday season.  The team prepared 350 lunches and distributed them as care packages filled with socks, toques, and gloves to help keep less fortunate individuals in our community warm with the chilly winter weather conditions. The team was privileged to be able to give back to the community and loved spreading a little holiday joy and spirit!

Éminence recently supported the "Hope for Life Celebrity Auction and Fashion Show” on November 26th 2012 at the Ritz Carlton in Phoenix. Hosted by Arizona Cardinal’s linebacker, Sam Acho, the event raised just under $80,000 to build a hospital in Nigeria that provides free medical care for less fortunate individuals. The event was attended by Éminence staff and NFL superstars such as Larry Fitzgerald, Beanie Wells, and Miss Classic America 2012 Tristan Topps and created a lot of awareness for the organizations first charitable event of this caliber for the organization.

Éminence proudly donated 150 pieces of our Vanilla Cream Antioxidant Mineral Foundation, Cinnamon Kiss Lip Plumper, and Jute Bags as gifts for all the attendees. We also provided a lovely gift basket as a silent auction item which included including our Stone Crop Tube, Bamboo Firming Fluid, Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant, Lip Trio and Tea Tree & Mint Hand Cleanser. Éminence wishes Sam and his foundation all the best with this amazing endeavor!

Good tidings bring seasonal spa goodies! DaySpa managing editor, Katie O’Reily, recently raved about our “scrumptious-smelling” Vanilla Almond Gift Set. The Vanilla Almond Shimmer Body Lotion and the Vanilla Almond Hand & Cuticle Cream smells like “delightful holiday sweets, gloriously rolled into one!”

Frosty winds and icy-cold weather can aggravate and worsen sensitive skin but arnica can help soothe ailing skin woes. The Calm Skin Arnica Masque was showcased in DaySpa Magazine as a “must-have”—product to “…alleviate sensitivity and reduce redness.”

Last but not least, Éminence Organic Skin Care was mentioned for employing botanical stem cells in products which is the latest trend in skincare.

Announced this Friday, Éminence came in the top three for sustainable BC businesses in the BC Export Awards! As a celebration of the growing BC export industry the awards give recognition to companies at the forefront of BC business and international commerce. In this year’s awards we were nominated in the sustainability category as a tribute to our commitment to the sustainable practices that we implement throughout our business. We are proud to have come in the top three and are shooting for first place next year!  

This month, the blog ‘Cherry Blossoms,’ tries and tests Éminence products and as a result they are now proactive believers in the Éminence brand!
